| Nasreen was born in Doha, Qatar. She later moved to Pakistan then England in the new mellinium. Through her art, she is served with the opporunity to combine the cultural experiences that she has gained from Pakistan with that of the culture that is portrayed in the West. Nasreen is currently a student at Chelsea school of art studying textile design, having already completed a foundation in art and design at the University of the Creative Arts Canterbury. Nasreen's art pieces are mainly inspired by Islam and her childhood memories from Pakistan as well as growing up as a British Muslim in England. She works mainly using mixed media techniques and processes combining textiles with paint and prints as well as experimenting with different, unusual found and sourced materials in order to create interesting surfaces and textures.
