| Mansoora Hassan was born in Peshwar, Pakistan. She received her MFA from Pratt Institute, New York. She is a photographer, painter and video artist, working in mixed media and has exhibited and travelled extensively, with works in public and private collections worldwide, including Egypt, Pakistan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Malaysia, Bolivia, Uruguay, Senegal, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the USA. Hassan’s work has been included in books such as Unveiling the Visible: Lives & Works of Women Artists of Pakistan and reviewed in Art in America, art catalogues, newspapers and television programs.
